A talk with Paul Tiffany, part of our Innovation Series™
THE MYSTERY OF INNOVATION, A RESULT OF ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OR INDIVIDUAL BEHAVIOR?”
— ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Paul Tiffany is a Senior Lecturer at the Haas School of Business of the University of California, Berkeley. He has taught previously at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, the Wharton School, and CEIBS (China-Europe International Business School) in Shanghai.
— ABOUT THE TALK
Firms are under constant pressure to grow. Yet, while this is so, there are always constraints to growth. Firms typically seek expansion within the industry space that they know best. Many firms, however, seek growth through diversification. Is this a result of organizational structure or individual behavior? While this is a typical strategy for many, its management remains difficult. This talk will review the different aspects related to business and the most relevant strategies for innovation.
