Overview

Our MBI is a two-year program divided into 6 modules. Each module consists of two subjects, each delivered in two weekend-long sessions on campus. Each session takes place once a month from Friday to Sunday.

In between seminars, participants complete assignments and interact in virtual dialogues with fellow students and teachers.

Admission Requirements

A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years professional experience are mandatory.

Our MBI program is taught completely in English, therefore being fluent in English is a mandatory requirement.

Student Profile

Our MBI program is designed for 3 types of students: entrepreneurs who are ambitious to initiate their own business or are planning to expand with an innovative product as well as with a recent business idea/unit; entrepreneurs who are eager to take advantage of business innovation tools in order to successfully lead their company's project; executives that are anxious to perform on a superior level, developing innovative strategies in a global economy.

Module 1

The New Global Economy

This course will provide students with hands-on approach to finding opportunities for Business Ventures in the new global economy.

At the end of this course students will have identified a creative project that they will work on for the duration of their Masters Degree.

New Paradigms in Business

The aim of the course is to have a better understanding of innovation as a new paradigm for generating ideas for products and services that will give a company a competitive edge on the market. By the end of the course, students would have identified a specific opportunity for a new growth venture that they continue to develop through the duration of their masters studies.

Module 2

Customer Relevance

This course will help students to understand the Customer Relevance as a new paradigm in business to create value for clients and will provide the necessary tools for new approaches in product innovation based on customer´s needs. Students will work on identifying the customers’ demands and desires for their personal projects.

Branding

This course will focus on the brand as a strategic and valuable asset of a firm that communicates emotionally and effectively with customers. Students will develop a brand strategy for their personal projects.

Module 3

Being Unique and Competitive

This course will study the differentiation strategy of a business firm, with a systemic approach for making the competition irrelevant and creating uncontested market place. Students will develop the strategic approach to enhance the product differentiation for their personal projects.

Strategic Planning

This course will look at Strategic Planning as an innovation process that focuses on formulating and implementing a business development strategy to achieve repeatable growth and to unlock new markets. Students will work on a model of a Strategic Planning for their projects looking for new business opportunities.

Module 4

Innovation Leadership

This course studies the leadership for innovation as the ability to instill a sense of purpose in the organization and to mobilize work towards the goal, creating individuals, teams, and organizations that are able to challenge the “status quo” and generate profound new value. Students will be encouraged to build a plan for setting objectives and guiding actions for organizational innovation in their personal projects.

Innovation Implementation

This course will study implementation of innovation as the tool that will guide managers through the unknown critical of a strategic plan for business competitiveness and economic growth. Students are required to identify their business project needs for innovation and to prepare a plan for implementing changes.

Module 5

Innovation Models

This course examines models of innovation in the context of a dynamically changing environment of business, outlining different models used to describe the innovation process, examines various types of innovation, and the dynamics associated with the adoption and diffusion of innovations. Students will work in the creation and development of an innovation model for their personal projects.

Business Models

This course will give the students the opportunity to learn about the implementation of emerging business models for the development and growth of enterprises in the globalized economy. Students will be confronted with the challenge to conceptualize their own business ideas for their personal projects.

Module 6

Business Plan

This course focuses on the student’s entrepreneurial potential and creating a new business venture. Emphasis is placed on identifying and evaluating entrepreneurial opportunities. Students will prepare a professional, comprehensive business plan that will guide their business start-up and address capital funding.

Funding your Idea

This course will give the students the knowledge and skills for research for investors, understand what investors are willing to invest in, and provide the documentation they need in order to make decisions. Students will develop and present a financial plan for their personal projects.
